Always practice solid, technical walk throughs to produce the best results on your jumps. Here I demonstrate how the walk through is put into action with the quick hip snap. This axel is demonstrated with arm in front, but you can easily transfer to arms back as well. Both styles are great forms of take off, you just need to know which one works better for you and practice off ice the same as you do it on the ice.
