Big DIG (00:15)
DIG Dual Digital Delay features two independent delays, each independently processing one side of Cloudburst's stereo output. For this example DIG is in ping-pong mode for a huge stereo image, and its early ’80s adaptive delta modulation (ADM) mode with Modulation set to Deep really makes the most of Cloudburst's lush Ensemble in full-on Forte mode.

Spinning Down (01:22)
In this example Lex Rotary provides the magical sound of a spinning horn and bass driver, while a longish cloud-like reverb from Cloudburst lends an ethereal quality to the rotary signal. Midway through the example, you can hear the rotary smoothly ramp down from a fast speed to a slow speed.

String Tank (02:01)
In Spring mode, blueSky's Shimmer knob can be used to create an intriguing octave-down pitch effect with a variable LFO rate. In this example we hear Cloudburst adding its Ensemble effect to this, and we hear blueSky's LFO at three different speeds.

Tremors (03:23)
Flint is most often used to add vintage tremolo and reverb to amps, but in this example it works together with Cloudburst to achieve some very synth-like effects while preserving the character of the dry guitar signal, which is made crunchy by Iridium's Punch amp.

Tape Flange (04:32)
In this example, Deco's left saturation tape deck provides subtle tape warmth plus some vintage ALC (Auto Level Control) cassette-style compression to the dry guitar signal while Deco's right lag (doubletracker) deck lags ever so slightly behind to create a lush tape flange effect. Deco's blend TYPE mode is set to bounce to create a stereo ping-pong effect, while Cloudburst creates reverberant space.

Auto Rhythms (05:20)
DIG Dual Digital Delay excels at easily creating complex rhythms from just a few notes, and in this example it does exactly that while Cloudburst's Ensemble mode adds synth-like textures.

Drifting Off (06:01)
A simple guitar part is used to demonstrate El Capistan's warm vintage tape echo, while Cloudburst is heard first with no Ensemble effect, then with Ensemble in mp (mezzo piano) mode, and finally with Ensemble in forte mode for maximum effect.

Dirty Rotor (07:30)
In this example the guitar signal receives quite a bit of crunch from Iridium's Punch amplifier, then that signal receives added harmonics (with a bit of decay) from Cloudburst's Ensemble effect, and finally all that is swirled and churned by Lex, which adds even a little more grit via its preamp drive setting.
