Cockpit view of the 2017 YXZ1000R SS. Shows column-mounted, aluminum paddles for controlling up and down shifts. Console-mounted electronic shift lever controls shifting from drive (forward movement), neutral and reverse. Launch system is activated by placing transmission in drive 1st gear, apply brake, pull back both paddles for one second until LS dash light comes on, hold throttle wide open, release paddles to launch.
