This concert was broadcast on radio / streaming and is just the second time Culture Club have ever played in Israel. No footage that I know of exists from that first show in 1985 (apart from a small handful of black & white photos that appear towards the end of this video slideshow). But this show is beautifully captured from the Menora Mivtachim Arena, on the 7th of November, 2017. There are times when the DJ breaks in over the music (usually in the beginnings or endings of songs), but that is typical for radio shows. Also, the final song, "Get It On" is incomplete. However, it includes several songs that have rarely been performed live, and the quality here is phenomenal, so I feel it more than makes up for those small interruptions. Not only do we get to hear the Prince cover, "Purple Rain" (removed from the "Live At Wembley" album / DVD), but we are treated to a duet of "Karma Chameleon" with Israeli trans activist and Eurovision winner Dana International. Also found here is likely the only professional recording of "Resting Bitch Face", from "Life", which was only heard at a few shows to begin with. This is also the last professionally recorded concert to feature Jon Moss on drums that I have found; as he would exit the band less than a year later.
