In this recipe video we break down a simple method to grill pork spare ribs on the Big Green Egg. Had some friends over to grub on these ribs and they said it was some of the best ribs they ever had!
Basically this was an indirect cook for 4 hours at 250°. Then sauce up the ribs. Cook for another hour at 300°. Enjoy!
More detailed directions to follow:
1. Remove membrane from underside of the ribs.
2. Add your favorite rub to the ribs. I used mustard and Stonewall Kitchen's Carolina Rub - Sweet & Spicy.
3. Get BGE grill up to 250°.
4. Optional - Add wood chips.
5. Add plate setter and Smokeware Rib & Roasting Rack.
6. Cook ribs at 250° for 4 hours.
7. No peeking!
8. Sauce up ribs with favorite BBQ sauce. I used KC Butt Sauce.
9. Cook ribs at 300° for an hour.
10. Enjoy!
