How to fix a leaky chainplate on a Tayana 55 CC Blue Water Sailboat! Chainplates and Turnbuckles. In this episode we go in depth on cleaning and servicing the chainplates and turnbuckles. It is very time consuming to do all of the maintenance on the rigging. We take a break from all the projects to go to our son's wedding in North Carolina. On the way back we pick up a new crew member- our grandson Nahkoda. Once we got back home, it's back to work. Brian continues to work on the chainplates and turnbuckles and I head back to work at the dental office. It was very satisfying to complete the chainplate project. Next week we will work on the rudder system.
