Jari-Matti Latvala competed in the World Rally Championship for over 2 decades, and with 18 event victories during that time, he is the most successful driver to not have won a championship.

Starting in 2021, he hung up his racing boots in exchange for the boss's seat, as he now serves as the team principal of Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC, replacing fellow Finn Tommi Mäkinen.
