Same as before see Part 1.
I have tried off-camera to using Potassium iodide and Bismuth chloride in HCl (Drangondroff Reagent) to test for Stychnnine and Brucine it was a negative this type of complex alkaloids does not react with KBI4 or Dragondrof reagent.
The procedure for extracting Nux vomica used Acetone which i will show. Acetone with dichromates in concentrated Hydrochloric acid (31%) does not rapidly convert the Chromic acid (Cr+6) into chromium 3.

I recommend adding Sodium dichromate to strychnine sol which should turn purple and because there is (No acid) it will not be reduced to cr+3.
A dark black precipitate of Stychinne-chromic acid complex was observed but was very unstable too I "think" that was what I got.
I am getting soon Powdered Pills of Nux vomica a pre-extract which i will use Acetone instead of Any alcohol. This or adding sodium dichromate directly without any acids to the Stychinne (Nux vomica) extract.
Add to a glass beaker 3 grams of sodium dichromate then add the Extract add a few drops of conc HCL (hydrochloric acid) it will turn black to violet a positive test for these alkaloids.
