Researchers from the University of Washington are pushing back on claims that their work shows there is no risk from the levels of meth and fentanyl residue on board a week after publishing a study. “It is not accurate in the perspective of the UW researchers to state that the air is safe.”
Transit operators have said lingering drug smoke on certain routes causes them headaches, despite claims from health officials who say there is ‘no real risk’ from secondhand opioid smoke.
