There is a simple way and free way to convert video to MP3. You can do this with MP4 videos, MOV, and other video formats.
VLC is a free software for Mac and PC that can extract MP3 from a video file.

Simply find the video file you want and add it to the convert menu in VLC. Choose audio mp3 in the dropdown and save the new file as an mp3 file.
VLC will take care of the conversion and convert video to the mp3 file.
