New models continue to arrive from Chinese brands for the electric vehicle market. IM Motors recently launched its electric SUV model IM LS7 for pre-sale. On the roof of the IM LS7, high-resolution camera and lidar units that direct advanced driving assistance systems attract attention.

The vehicle, which also has a large glass roof and 360-degree parking cameras, also offers the new smart cockpit 2.0 feature, powered by the IM OS 2.0 operating system. On the technical side, there are two different options: 90 kWh and 100 kWh.

The first option is the product of collaboration between SAIC and CATL. The 100 kWh battery, together with the single engine powering the rear wheels, offers a range of 660 km according to CLTC measurements in China. It is stated that the dual-engine version offers a range of 615 km.
