a US Army project abandoned in 2012.
The 300 foot craft has been converted by a
British Company for civilian use.
How does the Airlander lift off the ground?

Airlander, bigger than the Airbus A380,
produces 60% of its lift aerostatically,
40 per cent aerodynamically,
25% of its
thrust up or down is provided by the engines.

the Airlander can hover
and land on almost any surface imaginable,
including desert, ice and water.
Where would you take this enormous aircraft?
you can stay air-born two weeks at a time!
cruising at about 90mph of heights over
20,000 feet!
with a 10 ton cargo area you can bring more than
your DJ set up.
