The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer is a $9,900 value in a world of watches racing past five-figures. With a 43mm stainless steel case, full bracelet, and world time complication, the Aqua Terra Worldtimer offers Seamaster durability with a complication most associated with Patek Philippe. Omega co-axial Master Chronometer caliber 8938 is antimagnetic, shock resistant, automatic winding, and adheres to the METAS chronometer standard. METAS exceeds COSC chronometer testing in both extent and rigor. While the Aqua Terra Worldtimer is available on a strap, the paltry $200 savings is not worth forgoing the durability and long-term savings advantages of the bracelet option.
A Blancpain Fifty Fathoms cannot be purchased new for less than $10,000, but the used Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe grey ceramic can be found with ease in that price range. At 43.6mm, this scratch-resistant dive watch isn't small, but its light weight makes the size far more wearable for watch collectors with average sized wrists.
