Hi guys,

This video is about the most important skill in Red Alert; even some of the pros could improve their game by doing this. Milo234 was one of the strongest players to ever play Red Alert, and also created a very good guide. In his opinion, "Whoever produces the most the fastest wins". I also believe this to be true (in almost all situations).

Here you will see 2 timed situations - a race to produce 10 tanks:

1. The building menu is far away from the deployment location.
2. The building menu is next to the deployment location.

In example 2, you will see a few imperfections, but still 10 tanks are built 2 seconds faster than example 1. It may not sound like much, but every little counts! You'll have a 1-2 tank advantage at this point. But later on, the time savings increase and you'll produce many more tanks!

In a nutshell, you need to minimise the time between when a building is ready and placing it somewhere - with practice, this can be done as fast as you can double click your mouse, and low resolution helps!

Notice when the building menu is next to the deployment location, you can deploy your building BEHIND the menu. This is what you need to do for EVERY building, in order to maximise production. In this example, I manage to get this 3 times. It is possible to do all the time, if you practice a lot!
