4. QUALITY: Lower MSRP doesn’t mean CFMOTO quality is lacking. The fit and finish is tight, paint quality is flawless. I’ve taken my fairings off to run wires for USB ports. CFMOTO has put a lot of quality in the plastics and mounting points for the fairings. There’s very little use of cheap push pins that other bikes have. They use secure hex screws with some rubber grommets to keep things flexible and vibration free.

CFMOTO finishes off the important areas with caps to clean up the looks. You’ll see this on the windscreen/mirror mount screws. You don’t see little details like this on a $30K Ninja H2. It shows me that CFMOTO is serious about quality, fit and finish.

There’s protection behind the front wheel. On most bikes, if you want this kind of protection to keep rocks and dirt from getting behind the fairings, you have to look for something aftermarket, but the CFMOTO 300SS comes standard.

3. GAS MILEAGE: I’m getting an average of 80 MPG with my 2022 CFMOTO 300SS! It’s amazing! The CB300R is rated at 70 MPG and the R3 is only rated around 50 MPG. Fuel economy is a big win for CFMOTO.

2. TECHNOLOGY: The TFT screen on the CFMOTO 300SS is one of the best displays on any sport bike, at any cost. You get all of the important information, such as speed, RPM, gear indicator, fuel mileage, plus you can switch between ECO mode and Sport mode. On this bike, there isn’t a big different between the two modes, but you may notice a slight difference when in sport mode. You can customize the information you want displayed on the screen.

I think the best part is that the technology can be accessed through the CFMOTO RIDE app. This comes standard on the CFMOTO 300SS and includes built-in security notifications. Built in GPS lets you know where your bike is at all times. If you park somewhere and forget where your bike is, the navigation will get you back to it. It will notify you if your bike is touched. If someone tries to steal your bike, you’ll get a vibration notification that the bike has been moved. If your bike is stolen, you will be able to track the exact location where they take it.

There’s a lot more info the CFMOTO app provides, such as your ride info. On my last ride, I went 69.22 miles. My top speed was 72.70 MPH.

1. LOOKS, RIDE AND COMFORT: The #1 reasons why the CFMOTO is an amazing sport bike. It looks amazing! The Honda CBR300R looks outdated. The Yamaha R1 looks sweet, but even that can’t compare to the looks of the CFMOTO 300SS. I could add the Ninja 400 in here, which I think also looks amazing, but the reason why I didn’t include the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in my comparison is because I think with the slightly bigger engine of the Ninja, it’s kind of in a class by itself. Still, the CFMOTO has better technology than the Ninja and the build quality is on par, if not better than all other bikes mentioned.

Ride and comfort of this 300SS has been perfect. I’m 6ft tall and I’m comfortable riding. The seat is padded and supportive, I don’t get numbness or tingling in my butt even after long rides, the foot pegs are in a good position, so I don’t get hip craps. It’s just a great bike overall.

That is my top 5 reasons why I think the CFMOTO 300SS is an amazing bike and worth considering. There are many more reasons why I love this bike, but I think these are some of the most important. Honestly, I don’t have any complaints with this bike. I guess if there is anything negative I could think of, it’s the lack of aftermarket parts and accessories available right now. That’s not a manufacturing or quality issue. We just need patience to see what becomes available in the future.
