The Ether Tale Radio Players celebrated National Poetry Month by reading poems from their favorite poets.
The readers had recently admired the bee poems that were strewn about the California Native Bee Specimen Exhibit at UC San Diego’s Geisel Library.
That bee theme was borrowed for this evening of poetry as well!
Host Scott Paulson and guests Gabriel Pan and Barbara Henderson all took a turn reading.
Special guest Libby Webber read poems from her book Risk a Verse: a Year in Daily Sonnets.

Bonus: Peter Flynn’s son Liam presented a prose poem that contained the preposition “before”
and that was close enough in keeping with the “bee” theme.
