Freezing rain started falling in the Kansas City metro area after 9pm on Friday, January 13, 2017. With temperatures being in the mid-20s and a moderate rain falling roads and bridges became slick. There have been multiple accidents along the interstate and interstate 35 experienced one. Along with ice accumulating on windshield.
