DreamBeam’s original repertoire includes Celtic influenced melodies, acoustic funk, Latin rhythms and much more. With Margaret Kennedy/flute and Stephen Housden/guitar their live set is acoustic but the collaborations with Kings Of Kudos are electric in more ways than one. [ Ссылка ]

“I often pick up the guitar and just start playing something random that I’ve never played before. That’s how Fiveplay came about. The opening riff came first. Then I noticed it was 5 beats per measure so I decided to make a tune around that 5/4 groove. It all came to me pretty quickly and it was soon added to the DreamBeam repertoire. After putting an electric version together with Kings Of Kudos we decided to record it on our first EP with the addition of Margaret on flute. Margaret often joined us on these tune live and that’s how the Kings of Kudos/DreamBeamcollaboration came about” Stephen Housden


West Cork Music is all set to shine a light once more on West Cork’s brightest talent when Resound returns this month.

Among this year’s exciting line-up of West Cork musicians are Molly O’Mahony, Eve Clague, Brian Casey, Lea M., Kate Liddell, Armando Ramirez, Mira Geluk, Dale Holland, Niall Mc Guinness, Noel Maguire, Jodi Ní Dhonnchú, Stephen Housden, Margaret Kennedy, Les Sampson and Mike Geaney.

The performances take place in venues throughout the region including Bantry Museum, Christ Church Glandore, Baltimore Castle, An Sanctoir and the Old Methodist Church, Bantry.
