Tigers love to swim! Watch our live tiger cam and see them come down to Tiger Lake to cool off or have a drink of water. The Tiger Lake Cam overlooks two tiger enclosures, one is about an acre and the other is about two acres. The camera is positioned on the Catwalk at the double layers water separating the two enclosures.
Tigers are solitary and don't like to share territory. While they may play at the fence, they would harm each other if they had to share the same space.
To the left is the half acre enclosure; to the right you'll see the larger area. The enclosure on the right wraps around behind the bamboo and shade cloth visual barrier at the back of the enclosure, so if you don't see tiger on the tiger lake cam, they could be back in the woods, off camera.
The cats move around a bit, so check out the chat room to see who is living on Tiger Lake today. Sometimes, if no tiger can be seen lakeside the CamOp will swing the camera around to the many tiger enclosures on the other side of the lake.
Big Cat Rescue, one of the world’s largest accredited sanctuaries for exotic cats, advocates for ending the abuse of captive big cats and saving wild cats from extinction. This refuge is home to over 70 lions, tigers, bobcats, cougars, and other species who have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, or retired from performing acts. Our new series of live cams brings us into their world as they live, play, and heal through rehabilitation.
