IMD issued an Orange alert for three south Odisha districts- Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada. Apart from this, heavy rain alert issued for Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, and Kalahandi districts. Fishermen were advised against venturing into the sea. As per IMD, there are chances of localised waterlogging and landslide.
