This man was scheduled for surgery but another man who looked exactly like him had the operation in his place.

Brady Feigl was diagnosed with an elbow condition and needed surgery. However, six months after the procedure, he received a call from his doctor’s office asking him to report for the same surgery. Confused, he responded that he had already had the operation and was well into his recovery. The office had mistaken Feigl for another man also named Brady Feigl, who had actually scheduled the same surgery.

That’s when he learned he had a doppelgänger. Not only did they share the exact same name, but they were also both six-foot-four, had red hair, bushy ginger beards, wore thick black glasses, were Minor League Baseball pitchers, and underwent the same "Tommy John surgery" with Dr. James Andrews in the same year.

When they finally met each other, they were stunned by their similarities. Since neither of them had ever heard of any other Feigls outside their own families, they decided to take a DNA test to see if they might be long-lost twins. The test showed they share exactly 53 percent German ancestry, but despite all the coincidences, they’re not related.
