English - Here is the iconic blue and white GVB Tram filmed around Amsterdam Centrum from my visit in 2016. It's a fairly extensive network with 14 tram routes in total. Route 5 actually shares it's tram line with Metro Line 51.
A number of locations are featured including the famous Leidsestraat where trams run bidirectionally on this single tram along the narrow street. It's summer and there are lots of people enjoying Amsterdam so drivers do a pretty awesome job in negotiating the large amounts of people.
You will also see a tram running into the depot at Havenstraat.
Most lines are single direction with a loop at each end of the line and the tram fleet Serie 12G and Siemens Combino Serie 13G / C1 /C1A runs these routes.
Line 5 or Lijnen 5 from Westergasfabriek to Amstelveen is a bidirectional route and uses Serie 11G and Siemens Combino Serie 14G / 2CA class trams to run the service. The trams on line 5 are the only trams in Amsterdam with a proper drivers cab at both ends.
