Pretty Lake State Forest Campground is located about 25 miles North West of Newberry in Michigan's Uppper Pininsula. The campground offers 18 campsites for tent, pop up camera or small trailer use and has another 8 hike in only sites scattered along the Pretty Lake Pathway hiking trail. This is considered a "quiet area" and as such, no motors are allowed on the lake.
A campsite will cost you $20 a night in the peaceful little campground. There is also a small picnic area offered here as well as staging for the popular hiking trail. While visiting the campground I had several pedal bikers come and go from the trail.
