Stein wins: Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein has beaten Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson in the race for Governor of North Carolina, according to race calls from the AP and NBC.
Stein, 58, grew up in Chapel Hill, where his father co-founded the state's first integrated law firm.
He will be North Carolina's first Jewish governor. Robinson's campaign was plagued by scandals in recent months.
