The chequered history of the class 458 units continued. Some of the class have been reformed into 4 car express units but there is no plan to bring them into service. In the meantime SWR continued to use the remaining 5 car units, some of which will be converted and other withdrawn.
458511 and 530 head for Waterloo with 2J40 from Hampton Court.
