I went for a drive today with intentions of filming something new and it brought me to here.This stable yard with two work mans cottages was very much a part of this country estate back in the old days when hourse and carrages were at thr four frount of transtortation and farming of the time. Its possible that the second house may have been for staff who whorked inside the main house itself.
With the passing of time and changes in the way people live and travel, the staff or workmans cottage and stables in many of these houses were no longer needed. Some are restored to to made into holiday homes or sold off with part of the land as residental homes or in this case left abandoned and not maintained.
Of all the abandoned explored videos i have made, this is one of the most dangerous that i have done mainly because of the upstairs and staircase being in a very weak state. When i video these kind of videos, it is a capture of that moment in time never to capture the same moment again because returning to locations like this later, the picture is most often different, with nature taking a greater hold of the building, vandalism or restoration.
