Meet Sarah Paulson-this year’s Tony award nominee for her lead role in the Broadway play “Appropriate.”

“Appropriate” is a dark comedy about a dysfunctional family who reunites after the death of their father to auction off his possessions. The play explores how “family secrets” can build up resentment within the family dynamic that has been held on to for too long. This family has the chance to communicate and forgive and accept one another or allow their blind rage to destroy what’s left of their family. “Appropriate” is a very powerful story as well as the acting by the entire cast, particularly Ms. Paulson who takes on an emotionally charged role and stretches herself to the limits by playing this role at every performance.

“Appropriate” has been nominated for 8 Tony Awards including best revival of a play and best actress, Sarah Paulson.
