Keynote Address: USDA General Council Janie Simms Hipp - USDA and Food Security in Alaska - Janie will discuss the various initiatives emerging at USDA under several new laws the Department is implementing, and will share her thoughts about the path forward in Alaska vis-à-vis food insecurity. She will discuss the important role of ongoing consultation and the enhancement of technical assistance that will occur through new UDSA investments.
