ENG transcription:
What made me become a Scrum Master?
They coincided: my need to change my career path with the discovery that there is a role that requires continuous development, learning in many directions, which consists in helping people make their work more meaningful and valuable together. And all this in a very interesting area of IT, all with the possibility of using my experience so far, and I think that my natural predispositions. This discovery was great :)
What was the most difficult at the beginning?
It was organizing the work itself. Choosing priorities, breaking down into tasks, subtasks, formulating a goal and what I'm doing it for. Supervision of progress. It was also difficult to get out of the feeling that everything was equally urgent and important. And that I have to embrace ME. Embracing many threads and keeping focus. At the same time, doing less to do more, which is limited to your work in progress and completing tasks before starting the next topics. It was difficult for me and I made a lot of mistakes in this area.
It seems to me that one of the associations that Scrum or Agile evoke in general is the association with chaos and arbitrariness. In fact, in order to be beneficial, Scrum requires discipline and self-discipline, persistence, and mutual attention to each other's needs and actions. The effects of action in Scrum are often not visible immediately, and they are built with the sum of small steps that should become habits, and for this you need discipline, not chaos.
