The video is from a performance that took place on May 29, 2022, by the Neemrana Music Foundation. Mr Yashraj Jadhav staged the scenes and the Voice Coach was Mr Jasmin Martorell.
The Neemrana Music Foundation was founded by Francis Wacziarg in 2002 as a non profit organization to promote Western classical music in India, using Indian singers and musicians and training them professionally to International standards. Not only was the talent of Indian artistes identified, but there was also a big appreciative audience of Western classical music, as seen during the first production of “The Fakir of Benares” which played to a packed house for three consecutive days at the Siri Fort Auditorium in 2001.

Several operas have been successfully staged in the last twenty years, the last few ones being with a fully Indian cast.
