Released in the USA at the end of September, 2020, this Streamliner model features a P-90 in the neck position and a satin black finish. It has a few mods - it does not come stock with the gold metal Gretsch knobs, Vibramate String Spoiler, BricksBiggsFix or brass switch tip.
Sound clip:
1) Panned left Bridge pickup - Laney Cub12R, 1 watt setting with Gain at 8 and a TubeScreamer - has a Mick Ronson-like nasal tone.
2) Panned right Neck pickup - Laney with Gain at 6. Neck pickup is noticeably louder out of the box - both pickups read around 9K. Full bass/midrange tone.
Center panned Middle pickup position for 3 other tracks (Ableton amp simulations), which are:
3) Even more tube driven overdrive guitar in the 1st and 4th parts, has a Fred Sonic Smith kind of treble, slightly fuzzed tone.
4) Cleaner driven melodic "lead" guitar with slight delay from the second part on. The Middle position gives the E and B string the fullness from the Neck pickup with some of the bite from the Bridge pickup.
5) Low in the mix from the beginning is an extremely overdriven and sometimes feedbacking guitar.
