Today we will talk about the RSA course, which is a requirement to work in the hospitality industry in Australia.
The RSA course teaches people to serve alcohol responsibly. In this course, participants learn about the regulations surrounding alcohol consumption in Australia, identifying intoxicated customers, and preventing underage drinking.
Additionally, the RSA course teaches awareness and prevention of drunk driving. Participants learn how to measure standard drinks and legally sell and serve alcohol.
The course is mandatory in all states and can be obtained by taking an online course. Upon completing the training, participants receive an RSA certificate which allows them to work in all places where alcohol is served or sold, such as restaurants, bars, pubs, hotels, and bottle shops.
