Since the invasion of Ukraine on the 24th February 2022, people from all over the world have been rallying together to help the Ukrainian Nation. None more so than their Neighbours to the west the beautiful Polish people and the Nation of Poland. In years past; Poland was an enemy to Ukraine, some parts of Ukraine even used to be Poland and yet despite this history, no nation has risen to the challenge of helping the Refugees more than the saviours of Europe - Poland. I've been a Ukrainian citizen since 2021 and since the war started I've felt helpless watching my friends lose their homes, their jobs, their families and their nation due to the invasion. I've taken part in Vigils, Protests, Fundraisers and donation drives in London while I found myself outside Ukraine. As my course in Journalism has been put on hold for the foreseeable future I am trying my best to do what I can. To be the useful grain of sand in the sands of time.
