Dr. Joseph Casarona woke up in the middle of the night at his home when he accidentally stumbled down the stairs. The doctor was left paralyzed from the neck down. Unsure if he would ever walk again, Casarona went through five months of therapy and now with the assistance of a cane, he will be walking out of the Emerge Nursing and Rehabilitation.
