Royal Chellengers Bangalore never really got any momentum in the innings as they lost wickets at regular intervals but AB de Villiers seems to have been playing on a different pitch. After a poor start to the innings De Villiers played the sheet anchor's role for some time and then exploded with the bat in hand taking RCB to 148 for 4 at the end of 20 overs. For Punjab Axar Patel was the pick of the bowlers who returnned with figures of 1 for 12 in his 4 overs.
