President Yoweri Museveni has met a woman from Kalungu district who survived an attack by robbers at her home on 10th April 2018.
Ms. Resty Nakyambadde met President Museveni on Friday at his country home in Rwakitura in Kiruhuura District. She was in the company of a team of security people led by Masaka Brigade commander, Joseph Semwanga. The President thanked Nakyambade for being brave and alerting the neighbors who later collaborated with security to rescue her. President Museveni directed that Nakyambade, who is an enrolled nurse, should be given a job. He also commended the Police Officer in Charge of the area, ASP Steven Twinomugisha, for quickly responding to Nakyambadde’s call in time. The thugs who attacked Nakyambadde were part of a gang that had killed five people in Bukomansimbi on new years eve.
