This is Raga here. Today's recipe is a sweet calling for all sweet tooth enthusiasts especially for coconut lovers. It’s the end of the week so you can INDULGE and I have the perfect recipe for that. 😋 Enjoy watching how to make homemade bounty chocolates with just 4 simple ingredients.
RECIPE servings 12 bars
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2cups Dessicated coconut
1/2 cup condensed milk sweetened
1/4 cup hot heavy cream (substitute- warm coconut milk)
250 gms Dark/Milk chocolate
METHOD/INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix together the Dessicated coconut, (hot)heavy cream or (warm) coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Mixture should combine well but still be sticky.
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape into rounded rectangles, about 2-3 inches in length. Wet your hands for easier handling! Line up all the bars on a greased parchment paper and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
After the fillings(bars) have chilled, take out of the refrigerator. Melt the dark/milk chocolate as per your package’s instructions. Chocolate should be smooth and glossy.
Dip each into chocolate until completely covered. Place on wire rack or parchment paper to harden. You can freeze them for 5 mins or until set.
VOILA! Delicious Bounty chocolate bars are ready to eat.
Recipe Notes:
You can also allow a few hours for the chocolate cover to set instead of freezing them. (time will vary according to where you live, how warm is your house etc.)
