Welcome back to another installation from Freedom In A Can. This is another video in our series on the Renogy ONE monitors, both the M1 & the Core.
The Renogy ONE monitors not only connect with your solar energy components to monitor your system effectively, they also provide for remote monitoring and controlling of some of the functions in your off-grid rig.

These smart accessories are tiny devices that serve to automate functions of your RV, boat, or off-grid cabin / home. Connect with your Renogy ONE monitor to remotely turn off lights, set alarms or notifications if someone or something enters your rig when not expected, remotely turn on fans, heaters or other functions that make remote living more enjoyable and secure.
In this video we not only connect the devices to our Core monitor, we also program the scenes which run their functionality. We also tested them to see if they work, how the perform and how easy it was to program.

This video is intended to help users plan, organize, calculate, and install a personal DIY solar powered electrical system. We, Shari & Hutch (Freedom in a Can, LLC), are neither professional electricians nor solar installers; we are educators who have learned to install our own system and to empower others to do the same. If you have questions, reach out in the comments section and we'll get back to you.
If you need further assistance beyond our advice, consult a solar professional or certified electrician. Electricity is dangerous, so do your homework, take it one step at a time, and good luck!
