In three days' time, the Indian Space Research Organisation will launch its most ambitious mission yet - the Chandrayaan 2. The moon mission, which consists of three parts - an orbiter, a lander, and a rover - will seek to build on the breakthroughs achieved by Chandrayaan 1, eleven years ago. The main objective of Chandrayaan 2 is to find concrete evidence of water on Earth's satellite, as suggested by its predecessor. In the run-up to the historic launch, ISRO explains the importance of this mission and the challenges faced in trying to implement it.
