BIM Talk again!
This time I am talking about Level of Development (LOD) in our BIM World!
LoG + LoI = LOD, you might have seen this formula when you work in construction industry.

In my opinion, LoG is explained very well in AIA LOD Definition 2020 by BIMForum ([ Ссылка ])

However, you may find it difficult how we can define LoI (Level of Information). According to PAS 1192-2:2013, Level of Definition is well described with Information needs. However, it is still difficult to specify in each work phase to meet the required Information.

I think that national standards should provide a well-structured BIM data bank, where we could reference required parameters of each work phase.
In this way, we could always use the same parameters for the public project by referencing national standards.

Here are my thoughts regarding LOD and I wish to get some more feedback from you. What do you think? Are you defining LOD for your project? or is your government providing a very good structured LOD standard?
