Video recorded in Rome on July 4 shows the impact of the drought in Italy caused by unusually hot weather and low rainfall. Local boatman Giulio Bendandi said he has never seen the Tiber river so low. Italy’s Cabinet declared a state of emergency in five regions that have been heavily hit by the drought, according to a government statement.
