Made a quick video for Aww_Shucks showing the removal of the stock widemouth Nalgene cap, and subsequent installation of a humangear capCAP.

He was concerned that the old cap needed the tether to be cut off so that it could be removed, and as the video shows, it is flexible enough to be stretched over the retaining lip.

The humangear capCAP is a simple but effective accessory for any widemouth Nalgene, or other bottle compatible with the widemouth Nalgene size and thread pattern. You get the benefits of a narrow mouth water bottle (ease of drinking), with the benefits of the widemouth (ease of cleaning, ability to add regular-sized ice cubes, etc), with none of the drawbacks.

The capCAP is readily available both online, and in brick and mortar stores like REI.
