This is my impression of the new APS-C Canon R7. So far I am enjoying this camera. I made an error at 1:27 stating manual shutter when I meant mechanical. The camera is nice to shoot with and having that 1.6x crop helps extend the lens range without decreasing the megapixels like the full frame counterparts do. By this I mean on a full frame shooting in crop you reduce the R5 from 45mp to 17mp and this you retain the full 32mp.

Filmed using the Canon G7X Mark III in 4K and the EOS R7 with the RF 16mm f2.8 STM recorded in 4K.
