"Canto de Ossanha" live interpreted by Raquel Cepeda and her Latin Jazz band, Passion.
Passion is a Latin Jazz project focusing on Cuban, Afro Latin and Brazilian rhythms and is composed by Raquel as singer and bandleader, Barry Sames on piano, Thomas Helton on double bass, Orlando Fuentes on drums, Cassio Duarte on percussion, Ernesto Vega on Sax and Felix de Leon on Trumpet.
Canto de Ossanha is a song by Brazilian composer Baden Powell and lyricist Vinicius de Moraes. The arrangement is by Raquel Cepeda and Barry Sames, inspired on Fabiana Cozza's rendition of the song on her CD "Quando O Céu Clarear" (2008).
The performance was organized by Da Camera of Houston ([ Ссылка ]) as part of their JAM concert series at Discovery Green Park on April 20, 2018.
