In this video, I talk about some of the techniques I use to play funky syncopated clavinet grooves. During the video I mention the "TouchClav" patch that I use on the Yamaha MOTIF. It's a cool sounding clav with a built in "wah" effect that's controlled by key velocity. The same patch is available on quite a few other Yamaha keyboards as well.

The Keyboard Fundamentals series is a weekly video in which I take a close look at a single element that's been a big part of my playing, and show how I use it and where it can fit in different musical situations.
