The Civil Society has criticised the audit of the voters register being carried out by KPMG. NGOs say an audit of the register should be conducted by Kenyans physically showing up and confirming if indeed they are on the register.
The civil society also says that IEBC has not yet developed a technology policy, and if the integrated election management system does not arrive in time for the election, there could be scenes similar to 2013, where the voter identification kits failed to work.
