What is The Horrific Untold Truth of How Wirt ACTUALLY Lost his LEG

One would be forgiven in thinking it was the butchers own cleaver to be the cause of his injuries, with its foul lingering effects:

The story of Wirt is a frightening and tragic one. He was taken from the arms of his mother and dragged into the labyrinth by the small, foul demons that wield wicked spears. So, the spear wielding Fallen were responsible for Wirts abduction from his mothers arms, but how do we KNOW FOR CERTAIN, it was not the butcher responsible for his injury?

Well, it's only in the Cut Quest do we learn that, it wasn’t the butcher that cut off wirts leg… but rather it was bitten.


The trauma of the occurrence was so intense, when asking him about the Butchers lair in the cut content, he would speak backwards from the experience…
