From the 30-kilogram vibratory rammer to the 7-ton roller, with a classic gasoline or diesel engine or even battery-powered, Wacker Neuson offers machines for light to heavy compaction work. On one of the Kassecker company’s construction sites in the inner city of Munich, where a district cooling network is being installed, almost the entire compaction portfolio is put into use.
To lay the lines underground, suitable compaction machines are required after breaking up the ground in different work steps. This includes different vibratory rammers and vibratory plates for compacting the layers of soil. Ideal results for the last work step, asphalt compaction, were delivered by a ride-on and a walk-behind roller from the Wacker Neuson company.
