I rebuilt this French made Motobecane AV78 Mobylette 49.9 cc moped, It is a total rebuilt and restored. I purchase this Motobecane at the Portland Swap meet (called "Always in April"). Which is of course in April... :-). It's mostly cars and car parts (not a lot of motorcycle or scooter). So this bike was on the side with a lot of miscellaneous car parts. When I saw it, it didn't run and I didn't even know who made it. But I liked the lines and shape of the bike and decided to rebuild it. It took one year to finish most of it (emblems and rear rack took an extra 6 months to find). I spent way too much on it (of course...). But I enjoyed doing it. I was really surprised when it won some awards. Enjoy. Barry :-)
