Love is the astrolabe of God’s mysteries.
A lover may be drawn to this love or that love,
but in the end, Love leads us beyond.
Through the illumination of love, reason becomes confused.
Reason has been thrown into a whirlpool.
It is a fool, impertinent and unruly.
If you want to be pure, remain silent.
Love is a cloud that scatters pearls.
The body’s veil lifts,
and we see the unknown,
shimmering beauty,
before us.

All religions bow down to Love,
for Love is the sultan over them all.
Those who are afraid of Love's fiery waves
are still only half a person.

Be a true lover,
and become a part of this wave.
As a lover, you are always home.
You may wander in the wilderness,
but inside, you are safe.

One who is drunk on this nectar,
how can they ever thirst again?
Love’s light shines from the soul,
illuminating the entire body.
The lover is present every moment,
but is also eternally absent.
